Because I Can

Tonight I'm going to....

...write those notecards I forgot about three days ago.

...watch NCIS to get the last creepy show I watched out of my head.

...eat Cheerios at 9:30 pm.

...blog hop for awhile.

...think about love stories and this interesting blog post.

...give myself a pat on the back for resisting the HUGE urge & temptation to get frozen yogurt after church.

...and then I'll go eat the ice cream sandwhich I've been thinking about for 4 days now.

...and then maybe I'll even have some Lemon Ginger Snap ice cream.

...while I think of this:

...but then read this:
Don’t feel guilty for eating 3 peanut butter cups. Or 8 slices of habanero cheddar. Or anything that’s your Favorite Thing Ever.

And why will I do all of this tonight?

Well,
because I can.
: )

And here's a song that makes me feel yummy inside : )

Ought To Be -Audrey Assad

I love you more than a slow-falling summer rain
More than a silence that only the snow leaves behind
I love you more

And I love you better than the gray of the autumn air
Better than spring in its blooming against the sky
I love you more

It may not be red as the roses yet
It may not be strong as the old oak trees but
Love planted deeply becomes what it ought to be

Your love is steady and sure as the mountains high
Moving my heart like a river that gently bends
Your love is sure

Your love is wide open spaces where I can run
And yet, we're tangled up roots in the warm broken earth
Yeah, our love is sure

And it may not be clear as the morning yet
It may not be wide as a restless sea but
Love given freely becomes what it ought to be

It may not be clear as the morning yet
It may not be wide as a restless sea
And it may not be red as the roses yet
It may not be strong as the old oak trees but

Love planted deeply becomes what it ought to and
Hearts given freely becomes what they ought to
Love planted deeply becomes what it ought to be
What it ought to be

letters to God

Lately, this song has really been speaking to me because I've been journaling a lot.
After reading a passage from Psalms, I'll write my recent thoughts/fears/or prayers to God.
Kind of like writing an unending letter to God.

I started writing a lot.
More frequently and more pages.

And after awhile, I began to think,
"I really hope that I'm not just writing a lot of pretty looking words and nice sounding ideas.
I want these things that I write to actually mean something. To not just write good things that I think or like -that are void of any meaning or truth. To have good intentions, mean what I write, and actually follow through on and live out those good intentions."

And then I thought about that for a few days.

Whenever I heard Breaking Through, I remembered these thoughts and it quickly became my prayer.
Are these just some words that I say aloud?Breaking Through -Audrey Assad
Is this just the sun breaking through the clouds?
Oh, I know it's more and I know somehow that
Heaven is breaking through
And it's You

I am a blind man trying to find the way
A deaf man with my ear to the ground
Just listening for what You say

I've got no voice to sing the songs
Written by the prophets on the subway walls
The kingdom is a golden table and we are beggars all

Are these just some words that I say aloud?
Is this just the sun breaking through the clouds?
Oh, I know it's more and I know somehow that
Heaven is breaking through
And it's You, it's You, it's You, it's You, You

I've wandered deserts looking for a sign
A wild flower in a valley low
Just reaching for the light

I have no place to lay my head, no sanctuary of my own
The kingdom waits with open arms
For pilgrims headed home

Are these just some words that I say aloud?
Is this just the sun breaking through the clouds?
Oh, I know it's more and I know somehow that
Heaven is breaking through
And it's You

(I am a blind man trying to find the way)
I'm looking for
(I am a blind man trying to find the way)
Heaven is breaking, heaven is breaking
(I am a blind man trying to find the way)
Heaven is breaking through
And it's You, it's You, it's You, it's You, yeah
It's You, it's You, it's You, You

I am a blind man trying to find the way

Sunday

This morning,

...I woke up without using my alarm.....such a good feeling!

...I played badminton with the seester at the tennis/volleyball court ..........(which feels super wimpy after playing tennis yesterday)

...and got super sweaty in the 100+ degree weather

...and then jumped in the nearby pool to cool off

...ate some yummy leftovers from last week

...and then a yummy quesadilla on the George Foreman via the seester

...showered, did a random assortment of things, and then headed off to church

...helped the seester with 2nd & 3rd graders at Kids Connection

...got a BRC burrito at El Pollo Loco

...went to 'the 7' (7pm church service) ............& was challenged, fed, and stretched

...went to Target for some un-fun essentials

...came home, ate some ice cream & watched the finale of Castle

Needless to say, it was a lovely day.
: )

And a Song for Sunday:

{The Altar}  -Nichole Nordeman

I'm at the end of myself,
I just dropped out of the running
I don't recall when I last pulled the shades and said
"here comes the sun, here comes the new day"
Someone remind me again that joy might show up on ocassion
I'm sitting here with my hands on my head, and my eyes on the ground, wondering if I'll be found by You

Will you make me new? Will you take what's left of me?
I guarantee that it won't be a fair trade.
Will you set me free from what's keeping me afraid?
I know I've prayed it all before, but I'm back on the altar

I don't believe what they say about one foot in front of the other
If my life was a map, you'd see every last step just circling around, still lost, never found by You

So will you make me new? Will you take what's left of me?
I guarantee that it won't be a fair trade.
Will you set me free from what's keeping me afraid?
I know I've prayed it all before, but I'm back on the altar

Maybe last year I'd have made empty promises
Maybe last month I'd have tried to pull strings
But I don't have one single chip left to bargain with
The only thing left is me needing You to make me new

Will you take what's left of me?
I guarantee that it won't be a fair trade
Will you set me free from what's keeping me afraid?
I know I've prayed it all before
But I'm back
On the altar

this morning & a song

Here's an ironically relevant song for this Monday.....

My morning routine ended up in my bedroom, laying on my bed with pounding ears, and wiping away tears.
Why?.....

I eventually got up and went into the bathroom but wasn't feeling good (i.e. everything was sort of spinning & hazy when I went into there).

When I started to wash my hands, things were getting much worse.
I told myself, 'just wash your hands and go get in bed.'
All the while, things were increasingly becoming very dark and hazy.
As I washed my hands, I think I squirted out some soap and I possibly dried my hands a little when I heard a lot of noise and felt myself falling.

Then I kind of -came to- on the bathroom floor, hearing the shower door banging and seeing the sister's makeup on the floor. I was disoriented and couldn't figure out why her blush was on the floor.
Apparently, she had gone into her bedroom and heard me moving her makeup around (that I moved on the counter while trying to hold myself up) and then she heard a lot of noise, thuds (from me falling), and the shower door crashing (as I hit my head on it). That's when she looked in and found me laying on the ground.
She was freaked out (not in a helpless way- but in a shocked way) and asked me what happened and what to do. She helped me to my bed and then rushed to get the washcloth I requested.
After she brought it in, I had her turn on the fan, and asked her to pray.

{I was scared}

I had to ask her to pray louder because of my loudly pounding ears and the noisy fan.
As she prayed, the pounding in my ears lessened and I stopped blinking tears back.

Gradually, things started to slow down and I calmed down. Thankfully, I pretty much feel fine now.

It was so cool how God worked things out.
He gave me the clarity to make it to my room. He allowed the sister to get ready later than usual so she was in the next room when it all went down. If it had happened a little earlier or later, she wouldn't have been there. He gave me peace and protection as she prayed. He allowed my body to calm down, not remain in shock, and he stopped the cramps and dizziness I had been feeling since earlier that morning. He provided a friend to fill in for the sister so she could arrive late to help me for awhile. He gave us a time for conversation, allowing me to calm down and feel better. He gave her long legs to quickly run up and down the stairs getting me the stuff I needed. It may seem silly, but I'm confident that He gave me the foresight to buy an extra box of mac & cheese on Saturday so that I had an easy lunch to prepare. He gave me a caring, thoughtful sister who didn't freak out and was able to help me when I needed it.
He blessed me with:
perspective (no, good health is not guaranteed),
peace (remembering other times I had fainted and always recovered), and
love (from my caring sister and from his loving character as my Elohim).

This forced day of rest was sure unexpected,
but I think I'll dwell in it and continue the praying I started earlier this morning
: )

*After I was feeling better, I told the sister, "Well, I didn't know that would happen!"*

New song! the *asterisk* part was my morning : )

You Lift Me Up
-The Afters

You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up

Waiting for the sunrise
Waiting for the day
Waiting for a sign that I'm
Where You want me to be

You know my heart is heavy
And the hurt is deep
But when I feel like giving up
*You're reminding me

That we all fall down sometimes
When I hit the ground

You lift me up when I am weak
Your arms wrap around me
Your love catches me so I'm letting go*

You lift me up when I can't see
You heart's all that I need
Your love carries me so I'm letting go

You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up

I know I'm not perfect
I know I make mistakes
I know that I have let You down
But You love me the same

And when I'm surrounded
And when I lose my way
And when I'm crying out and fallen down
You are here to....

Lift me up when I am weak
Your arms wrap around me
Your love catches me so I'm letting go

You lift me up when I can't see
You heart's all that I need
Your love carries me so I'm letting go

I can see the dawn is breaking
I am feeling overtaken
With Your love, with Your love
I don't know what I can offer
In this moment, I surrender
To Your love, to Your love

You lift me up when I am weak
Your arms wrap around me
Your love catches me so I'm letting go

You lift me up when I can't see
You heart's all that I need
Your love carries me so I'm letting go

I can see the dawn is breaking
I am feeling overtaken
With Your love, with Your love

You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up with Your love
You lift me up

thoughts on Easter Sunday....

I am a sinner.
You are too.

But there's hope.

-He is risen!-
{He is risen indeed!}

{Christ Is Risen}  -Matt Maher      (reposted)
Let no one caught in sin remain
Inside the lie of inward shame
But fix our eyes upon the cross
And run to Him who showed great love
And bled for us
Freely You've bled for us

Christ is risen from the dead
Trampling over death by death
Come awake, come awake
Come and rise up from the grave
Christ is risen from the dead
We are one with Him again
Come awake, come awake
Come and rise up from the grave

Beneath the weight of all our sin
You bowed to none but heaven's will
No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown
No burden great can hold You down
In strength You reign
Forever let Your church proclaim

O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light
The glory of God has defeated the night

O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light
Our God is not dead
He's alive! He's alive!

.today.

instead of complaining about the muscle I pulled in my leg from walking about 5 miles yesterday, I will remember.
I will remember the old man outside Rite Aid who took 4 minutes to walk about 5 yards to get to his car.
I will remember his cane, slow-moving gait, wrinkled face, & weathered smile.

I will not focus on my wrinkles, for I know they come with age.
I will not discount or cast aside someone with wrinkles, for I know they also have wisdom.
I will not focus on that pulled muscle, but on the fact that I could walk those miles.
Without a cane,
at an easy- almost fast pace,
while walking with my friend and her dog.
I will focus on the
conversation,
fellowship, and
the friendship God has richly blessed me with.

That is what I will do.

....................................................

my Facebook status of the day:

I did not burn ONE.SINGLE.THING while using my oven for 1.5 hours today.
This is progress, people.

....especially since I burned three things yesterday

.................................................

I went to bed last night at 11 o'clock.
As in, alarm set, falling asleep, under the covers before 11 o'clock.
This is also MAJOR progress.

today has been a:
sleeping in until 9ish,
making breakfast,
chilling with the sister,
making cookies,
stalking people on facebook,
blog-hopping,
eating lunch waay late,
taking pictures,
still in pj's @ 2,
lazing around,
......................kind of day.

get ready,
library,
store for ice cream & bread (the essentials, duh),
make ice cream sammies with aforementioned homemade cookies,
blog,
make dinner, &
off to lifegroup!
....................................................

A song for today:

P.S. I think I could totally pull off her hairdo.
I can definitely get volume like that just when I wake up in the morning

Don't look back....

Don't Look Back -She & Him
Orpheus melted the heart of Persephone, but I never had yours
I followed you back to the end of the path, but I never found the door

And you can work to save your love
You can bear it from the earth below
You can work but you can't let go
Oh, oh but you have to know

Don't look back all you'll ever get is the dust from the steps before
I don't have to see you every day, but I just want to know you're there

Quietly took to the dark of the day and the hiss of the summer night
The heat of the breeze was a cell block wall and when I looked you were out of sight

And you can work to save your love
You can bear it from the earth below
You can work but you can't let go
Oh, oh but you have to know

Don't look back all you'll ever get is the dust from the steps before
I don't have to see you every day, but I just want to know you're there

And you can work to save your love
You can bear it from the earth below
You can work but you can't let go
Oh, oh but you have to know

Don't look back all you'll ever get is the dust from the steps before
I don't have to see you every day, but I just wan't to know you're there

&
Here's a little meaning behind the song:
Orpheus went down to the underworld to save Eurydice, and to make that possible he had to play music to Persephone, who 'ruled' the underworld. He softened (well, melted..) her heart, and she let Orpheus bring Eurydice back to the upper world, on one condition - Eurydice should walk right behind him on the way back, and he couldn't turn to look at her until they'd both reached the upper world. But - just when HE'd reached it, he turned around to see if she was there, and boom - she disappeared forever.
So don't look back…

New Song: Come To Me

I've loved a song, Broken, by Jill Pacquette for a long time now.
Recently, I found her cd in my sister's room & gave it a little listen.
And wow.
There is some awesome stuff on her cd!

Come to Me -Jill Pacquette chords

Broken and battered, your confidence's shattered.
But I, I'm still here.
The things that you cling to they seem to just bring you
right back to your fears.
Were the nails and the spear in my side
Not quite enough to provide, the victory you need in your life?
Come to me.

Come to me,
if you come to me.
It'll be alright now.

Depression is spending, this fairytale ending you saw for yourself.
Broken glass photographs that you use to make you laugh sit on the shelf.
And you'd change the frame if you could,
but you'll do many things 'side you should.
Hoping that I'll think you're good enough.

Come to me, come to me.
If you come to me,
Oh it'll be alright now.
If you come to me, It'll be alright now.

You're broken and battered, your confidence shattered.
But I, I'm still here.
Your broken and shattered, your body's been battered
by what they call life.
Depression is ending, this life you've been spending
wrapped up in your lies.
And once in a while's not enough.
To show to me what you call love.
So don't waste my time words aren't all I want.

Come to me, come to me.
If you come to me,
Oh it'll be alright now.

March seventh

written Monday, March 7th:

Right now I'm sitting on my couch in my apartment.
Since it's about an hour (or so) before sunset, sunlight is streaming in soo brightly right now.

It's making it hard to see anything.
I can see those little glinty sun glares through my eyelashes as I'm squinting to see the computer screen.
It's also the perfect time to wake up from a nap. With sunlight bursting through the window, I wake up with a big lazy smile .. It's the best.feeling.ever :)
It's at moments like this that I'm reminded that I'm not called to live a sedentary life.

I've been called to action.

To live freely.

To walk in grace and freedom.

To have {JOY} !

To run in silly circles outside in the sunshine
&
To live every day for the present day. Not for the last or for the next.

It's also at moments like these when I'm extremely grateful that God created me as a true California girl,
One who love, Love, LOVES sunshine, warm weather, and leaves rustling in the breeze.

It's also at times like these that I wish the upcoming triple digit weather would take more than three months to arrive.
Yes, I said t r i p l e digits.Where I'm from, Subway has a deal most summers that you can get a cheaper sandwich on 100+degree days.
No joke.
It's kind of the only perk. But I'll take it! :)

Anyways, here are some New Songs-ies!

I'll Stand -Hillsong

....So I'll stand
With arms high and heart abandoned
In awe of the One who gave it all
So I'll stand
My soul Lord to You surrendered
All I am is Yours

Furious -Jeremy Riddle click here for song chart
(chorus only)

His love is deep, His love is wide
And it covers us
His love is fierce, His love is strong
It is furious
His love is sweet, His love is wild
And it's waking hearts to life

And lately I've been listening to a little Christmas music.
There's a great new song on my new playlist over -->
it's called:

Winter Snow -Audrey Assad feat. Chris Tomlin
With all the strength of a hurricane
You could've come like a forest fire
With the power of heaven in Your flame

But You came like a winter snow
Quiet and soft and slow
Falling from the sky in the night
To the earth below

You could've swept in like a tidal wave
Or an ocean to ravish our hearts
You could have come through like a roaring flood
To wipe away the things we've scarred

But You came like a winter snow
(Yes, You did)
You were quiet

You were soft and slow
Falling from the sky in the night
To the earth below

Oh, no, Your voice wasn't in a bush burning
No, Your voice wasn't in a rushing wind
It was still
It was small
It was hidden

You came like a winter snow
Quiet and soft and slow
Falling from the sky in the night
To the earth below

Falling
(Oh, yeah)
To the earth below
You came falling
From the sky in the night
To the earth below

chirp, chirp

so here's the thing: things have been a little, welllll, quiet around here lately.
More like silent.

Did you hear the crickets chirp? Yes, it's been that quiet.

It's not for lack of trying. I've started five different posts in the past two weeks.

There has just been a lot of stuff going on.

Like:
playing,
loving,
(some crying,)
cooking, cooking, cooking!
working,
 chores,
 cleaning,
churchin',
Bible studying,
chatting,
singing,
reading (blogs & mi Biblia),
driving (400+ miles a week),
eating,
thinking,
nausea,
sleeping (or lack thereof),
laundry,
painting + sanding,
crossing off things from my to-do list,
commenting (on blogs, silly),
basically, .........being an introvert while living at my parents house.

I'll post odds & ends later regarding some of the things I mentioned up yonder.

And to end on a nice note, here's:

a song we sang at church last Sunday:

All the earth will sing Your praise
The moon and stars, the sun and rain
Every nation will proclaim
That You are God and You will reign

Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory to You, Lord
Glory, glory hallelujah
Hallelujah

I wish this wasn't just a refrain from a song!
It's amazing!
It speaks to me every time!

doo-be-doo-be-doo-be-bop-be-loo

& in other unrelated news....
I watched a certain show (that sounds like okra) that had Diana Ross on Friday.

Needless to say, I had "I'm coming out!.....I'm Com..eh..en....OUT!" stuck in my head for hours :)

Oh, and another stirring song as of Wednesday......... (from my Ella Fitzgerald tribute cd):

Whew-ee! That girl can sang!

Little known fact: I took a jazz class last summer for school to meet my music/literature requirement (hello- I was NOT going to read novels/do any more major papers! hence, the music class). While taking it, I got really into Big Band (even more so- darn right! my parents raised me on Lawrence Welk), r&b, jazz, & modern versions of each genre of jazz!

New Francesca!

I heard this song on the radio a few months ago & decided that I liked it.

I liked it because it used simple ideas, trendy ukulele, and it was a new song from a singer-songwriter I like a lot...Francesca Battistelli!

I heard it again on Wednesday and it spoke to me on a different level.
I've been feeling really broken the past month or so and it seemed to speak to that feeling in my heart.
God had me listen to Air1 just for the chorus- I'm sure of it :)

I lost my keys in the great unknown
And call me please 'Cuz I can't find my phone

This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that's getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use

45 in a 35
Sirens and fines while I'm running behind
Whoa

This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that's getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use

So break me of impatience
Conquer my frustrations
I've got a new appreciation
It's not the end of the world
Oh Oh Oh

This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff
Someone save me
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
And I've gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use

Oh Oh Oh Oh
This is the stuff You use

Counting on God

So I haven't done a 'song' post in quite a long time.
Mainly because I hadn't heard anything new for awhile that rang true enough to remember it four years from now.

Hmph. Not using the cliches I keep thinking of to introduce it.
So...here are some verses that are better!  This, this, and this.

Here's an idea: load the song & then press play as you read through the lyrics!

I’m in a fight not physical
And I’m in a war
But not with this world
You are the light that’s beautiful
And I want more
I want all that’s Yours

Joy unspeakable that won’t go away
And just enough strength
To live for today
So I never have to worry
What tomorrow will bring
‘Cause my faith is on solid rock
I am counting on God

I am counting on
I am counting on God

The miracle of Christ in me
Is the mystery that sets me free
I’m nothing like I used to be

Blame it on the...

This is the way I like to listen to pop music!
I can be exposed to it, but not overwhelmed or sucked into everything it entails (questionable morals/lyrics).
My kinda music :)

I liked the one from last year soo much!
However, I felt that it had a bit more variety whereas this year's video was very heavy on r&b/artists with multiple songs or I just wasn't familiar with many of them like I was last year (and for good reason).

For comparison's sake.
or Pete's sake.
or whoever:
Last year's Blame It On The Pop

Our God Is Love

This is an awesome song by Hillsong that I just LOVE!!
We learned it at church a month ago and it is just such an amazing expression of love and thankfulness to God!

Our God Is Love - HillsongEvery soul every beating heart
Every nation and every tongue
Come find hope in the love of the Father

All creation will bow as one
Lift their eyes to the risen Son
Jesus Savior forever and after

This is love!
Jesus came and died and gave His life for us
Let our voices rise and sing for all He's done
Our fear is overcome
Our God is love
Our God is love

Every distant and broken heart
Every prayer every outstretched arm
Finding hope in the love of the Father

Age to age let His praises rise
All the glory for all of time
Jesus Savior forever and after

Age to age we will be singing In the light of all He's done
All the earth everyone singing
In the wonder of His love

This is love!
Jesus came and died and gave His life for us
Let our voices rise and sing for all He's done
Our fear is overcome
Our God is love
Our God is love

Currently...

I'm tired of studying the differences between lymphedema, lymphopoiesis, hematopoiesis, cytokines, B cells, adema, and other things about the blood and lymph systems, so......here are some songs I have been listening to! (Hint: click on the artist's name for a video!)

You Are For Me -Kari Jobe
So faithful
So constant
So loving and so true
So powerful in all you do
You fill me
You see me
You know my every move
You love for me to sing to you

I know that you are for me
I know that you are for me
I know that you will never forsake me in my weakness
I know that you have come down
Even if to write upon my heart
To remind me who you are

So patient
So gracious
So merciful and true

So wonderful in all you do
You fill me
You see me
You know my every move
You love for me to sing to you

I know that you are for me
I know that you are for me
I know that you will never forsake me in my weakness
I know that you have come down
Even if to write upon my heart
To remind me that

To remind me who you are

Your Love -Brandon Heath
I felt it first when I was younger
A strange connection to the lie
I tried to satisfy the hunger
I never got it right
I never got it right

So I climbed a mountain and l built an altar
Looked out as far as I could see
And everyday I’m getting older
I’m running outta dreams
I’m running outta dreams

But Your love
Your love
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s Your love
Your love
all I ever needed is Your love

You know the effort I have given
And you know exactly what it cost
And though my innocence was taken
Not everything is lost
Not everything is lost

But Your love
Your love
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s Your love
Your love
all I ever needed is Your love

You’re the hope in the morning
You’re the light when the night is falling
You’re the song when my heart is singing
it’s Your love
You’re the eyes to the blind man
You’re the feet to the lame men walking
You’re the sound of the people singing
It’s Your love

But Your love
Your love
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s Your love
Your love
all I ever needed is Your love

But Your love
(Your love is all that I needed)
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
(Your love is all that I needed)
It’s Your love
Your love
It’s all I ever needed

Yahweh -Hillsong
Our God He lives forever
He reigns in power and love

Let earth bow down before Him
For He is exalted

We look to Yahweh Yahweh
Forever Yahweh Yahweh

Our hope is God Almighty
His love is greater than all
Lift high the God of heaven
Give all the honor

We look to Yahweh Yahweh
Our hope is Yahweh Yahweh

He shall reign forever, He shall reign forever
He shall reign forever and ever
He shall reign forever, He shall reign forever
He shall reign forever and ever, our God

since

Since I'm tired of studying for my medical terminology midterm....
.....tired of studying the different body cavities, positions, planes, anatomy & pathology of the urinary, nervous, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems....
SO here is a lovely song that played after a fave: Forever Love.
Here it is: Unpredictable by Francesca Battistelli.
She has such good perspective and wisdom in her lyrics!

Got my thoughts
I got my words
Got this head full of answers
Got You wrapped up
Got You under control
See my future like the past behind me
I think I know where You’re leading
Don’t need no questions
Don’t need no rocking the boat

But I just forget all the mystery
I just forget who You are

(Chorus)
When I know that I know
What You have down the road
When I’m sure that
I’ve figured You out
Help me see that I’m small
That I can’t know it all
‘Cause You’re so unpredictable
‘Cause You’re so unpredictable

You said the foolish
Would shame the wise
To put my faith
In what’s beyond my eyes
And to believe You
I have to come as a child

So help me to rest in the mystery
Of what I can’t understand

Can’t wrap my mind around You
Can’t put You in a box
Can’t keep You safely contained
You’re gonna move the way
You wanna move today
Just let me follow along
